AutoBinder policy

Privacy Policy

AutoBinder is built to help collectors document signed items without turning private collection records into public inventory by default.

Last updated September 1, 2026

What AutoBinder stores

Account profile details you provide, autograph records, photos and document URLs, binder/checklist data, storage locations, value records, wishlist targets, event plans, private saved event/venue presets, social relationships, reports you submit, and settings needed to run the service.

Private by default

New autograph and collection records default to private unless you choose a different visibility. Public and friends-only sharing use sanitized projections rather than exposing raw private database records.

Sensitive collection details

Purchase prices, private notes, storage locations, document-vault records, certification evidence, insurance data, and other private collector metadata are not included in public item projections.

Age and minimum age

AutoBinder is currently available to collectors age 13 and older. The age-gate checks the date you enter in the browser and stores only age-status flags needed to enforce age-based content controls. Current AutoBinder code does not intentionally retain the submitted birthdate. Legacy birthdate fields from earlier builds are being removed through the administrator privacy-repair tool.

Third-party services

AutoBinder currently uses Base44 for application hosting/authentication/data services and TMDB for public entertainment metadata. Optional listing watches can use eBay Browse when the app owner has configured that provider. Those services process requests under their own terms and privacy practices.

Your controls

You can download your AutoBinder account data from Profile. You can also permanently delete your AutoBinder account from Profile; the deletion workflow removes owned/related AutoBinder records before deleting the Base44 user record.

Public sharing

Only records you intentionally make public are eligible for public profile, autograph, binder, or showcase views. Changing an item back to private removes it from future public projections.

Security

AutoBinder uses owner-scoped row-level security for core collection records and backend-only access for higher-risk records such as document vaults, social relationships, signature maps, event plans, saved event/venue presets, storage locations, and typed value records.

Retention

AutoBinder keeps account and collection information while your account is active or as needed to operate, secure, moderate, and comply with legal obligations. Account deletion removes owned AutoBinder records through the self-service deletion workflow, subject to limited records that may need to be retained for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or dispute handling.

Changes

This policy may be updated as AutoBinder adds providers or features. Material product changes should be reflected here before they are treated as part of the normal service.
